A worm gear consists of a worm (shaft) and a worm wheel. Suitable for worm drives with a profile shaft angle of 90°. Worm drives can achieve very large reduction ratios with a single stage.
The tooth has a flank shape K. Engagement angle is 15°. Worm gears are pre-drilled.
